1. Executive Summary

In 2022, the Child Care Development Centers of India (CCDCI) continued its mission to provide early childhood education, nutrition, and healthcare support to underprivileged children across India. Building on the success of 2021, the project expanded to new regions, enhanced digital learning initiatives, and strengthened its partnerships under Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

2. Objectives for 2022

1. Expand Centers – Increase the number of centers from 50 to 80+ across India.

2. Enhance Digital Learning – Introduce technology-driven education for young learners.

3. Improve Nutrition & Healthcare – Strengthen meal programs and medical check-ups.

4. Parental & Community Engagement – Increase awareness sessions for parents and local communities.

5. Skill Development for Caregivers – Conduct advanced training programs for teachers and staff.

 

3. Implementation Strategy

Expansion to New Locations: Centers were established in underserved regions of Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan.

Technology Integration: Smart learning tools and interactive content were introduced.

CSR Collaborations: Increased corporate partnerships for financial and infrastructural support.

Capacity Building: Trained 200+ caregivers and educators in child psychology and early education.

80+ Centers Operational across 10 states.

20,000+ Children Enrolled, a 100% increase from 2021.

15,000+ Mid-Day Meals Provided Monthly.

9,500+ Parents Engaged in childcare and nutrition workshops.

95% Immunization Coverage for enrolled children.

200+ Teachers & Caregivers Trained in modern teaching methods.

Introduction of Digital Learning Tools in 25 centers.

6. Challenges Faced

Funding Limitations: Despite increased CSR support, demand outpaced resources.

Internet Accessibility Issues: Digital learning was limited in rural areas.

Teacher Shortage: Difficulty in hiring and retaining trained educators.

7. Future Plans & Recommendations

1. Expand to 150 Centers by 2024 with a focus on tribal and remote regions.

2. Strengthen Digital Infrastructure by ensuring internet access in all centers.

3. Enhance Nutrition Programs by introducing fortified food items.

4. Increase Corporate Partnerships to sustain long-term funding.

5. Develop a Mobile App for parental engagement and digital learnings
