- To uplift economically disadvantaged individuals and families by providing them with sustainable livelihood opportunities, starting with micro-enterprise setups that need minimal investment but promise daily income.
Mission:
- To empower 10,000+ families in 5 years by enabling micro-entrepreneurship through food carts, vegetable carts, ice cream vending, e-rickshaws, and tiffin services—especially for women.
Target Beneficiaries:
- Individuals/families living Below the Poverty Line (BPL).
- Women from underprivileged backgrounds who are willing to work.
- Daily wage workers or unemployed individuals with the intent to run a micro-business.

How “Tucsi Udaan” Works:
- Step 1: Selection Process
- Verification of BPL status via ration card or local municipal records.
- Interviews and orientation workshops to identify suitable candidates.
- Step 2: Skill Training & Orientation
- 5-10 day basic business training:
- Hygiene & food safety (for food/tiffin vendors)
- Driving and maintenance (for e-rickshaws)
- Budgeting, pricing, customer service
- Digital payments and bookkeeping
Step 3: Micro-Business Setup
Tucsi provides:
- Pre-branded cart or vehicle (with Tucsi Udaan branding)
- Initial raw materials/supplies (starter kit)
- Working capital for 30 days
- Mentorship for 3 months
Revenue & Profit Model
For Beneficiaries:
Average daily income potential:
Food Cart: ₹700–₹1200/day
Ice Cream Cart: ₹500–₹1000/day
Vegetable Cart: ₹600–₹1000/day
Tiffin Service: ₹800–₹1500/day (based on 20–30 tiffins)
E-Rickshaw: ₹800–₹1500/day
Beneficiaries retain 80-90% of income after minimal cost.
For Tucsi:
- Installment Recovery Model:
- Cost of cart/vehicle recovered in EMIs from daily earnings (0% interest over 12–18 months).
After recovery, full ownership goes to beneficiary.

- 5% monthly revenue sharing after 6 months of operations.
- Brand Revenue:
- Tucsi Udaan-branded services generate goodwill and CSR support.

UDAAN – Beneficiary Rules & Regulations
Powered by TUCSI | Managed by Tucsi Business Ventures Pvt. Ltd.
Purpose:
To ensure that this fully sponsored initiative reaches genuinely deserving individuals and is used ethically for self-employment and livelihood purposes only.
- Eligibility Verification
All applicants must submit valid ID proof, BPL certificate, or self-declaration verified by local authorities or community leaders.
Fake or misleading documents will result in permanent blacklisting and possible legal action.
- No Sale or Misuse of Sponsored Assets
All carts, rickshaws, tools, or materials provided under UDAAN are non-transferable and must not be sold, rented, or misused under any condition.
Regular inspections will be conducted. Any attempt to sell, rent, or misuse resources will result in immediate seizure.
- Commitment to Work
The beneficiary must actively use the provided support for at least 12 months.
Failure to operate or show genuine efforts in the first 3 months may result in withdrawal of support.
- Behavior & Responsibility
Beneficiaries must maintain professional conduct, cleanliness, and respect for customers.
Harassment, illegal activity, or substance abuse while operating the cart/service will lead to termination and legal consequences.
- Branding & Identity
The name “UDAAN by TUCSI” must remain clearly visible on all sponsored vehicles/carts/units.
Uniform (if provided) must be worn while on duty as a mark of identity and discipline.
- Reporting and Monitoring
Beneficiaries must be open to random site checks, progress interviews, or digital monitoring (photo/video confirmation).
Monthly feedback or check-in calls may be required to ensure progress and well-being.
- Community Responsibility
Beneficiaries are encouraged to mentor others once they become stable.
They must inform TUCSI if they no longer wish to continue, so that the support may be redirected to someone else in need.
- Penalties for Violation
Violation of any rule will lead to:
Immediate cancellation of support
Confiscation of sponsored property
Blacklisting from all TUCSI schemes
Legal action, if fraud or misuse is proven
- Exit Protocol
If a beneficiary voluntarily wishes to discontinue after 12 months, they must inform TUCSI and return the resources (if reusable), or officially exit with a no-objection certificate.
- Declaration of Agreement
All selected beneficiaries must sign a "Beneficiary Agreement Form" acknowledging these rules before receiving any assistance.

Important Rules, Regulations & Conditions
- Eligibility: Only applicants who belong to BPL families, widows, orphans, differently-abled, or those with a verified low income will be considered.
- One-time Sponsorship: Each selected applicant will be eligible for sponsorship of only one cart/business setup.
- Ownership: The provided cart remains the property of TUCSI Foundation for one year. After successful one-year operation without misuse, ownership will be transferred to the beneficiary.
- Monitoring: Beneficiaries will undergo regular verification and monitoring to ensure the cart/business is properly operated.
- Non-transferable: The cart/business setup cannot be sold, transferred, or rented out to others. Strict action will be taken if violated.
- Usage: The sponsored cart must only be used for legitimate livelihood purposes.
- Documentation: Complete documentation and a simple agreement must be signed before receiving the sponsored cart.
- Rejection: Applications may be rejected without refund if incomplete or found false.
- Application Fee: The application fee of Rs. 200/- is non-refundable under any circumstances.
- Priority: Women, differently-abled, widows, and orphans will be given special priority.

- TUCSI Foundation’s decision will be final and binding.
- TUCSI reserves the right to modify or discontinue Project UDAAN at any time without prior notice.
